the power of saying 'No'

dun understand myself sometimes. yes, true. i want to be a person with principle in life. should have said 'no' when supposed to. but...many times i end up sacrificing myself for the benefit of others... now i know it's not good to be like that. 2 friends said to me, 'you must know when to say 'no' at the right time. you are only you. you cannot expect to be pleasing everybody all the time.'

so i shall treasure their words of wisdom and apply it to my life. a person of principle. yes i want to be that.

sorry for having to read about some thoughts in my head these days...

so, how's life treating me? -> someone asked.

oh well, i can't possibly tell that person everything in such a short time. because it's just been hectic to the max. but anyway anyhow, i'm loving it! [=

first of all, on friday after school, i did a bit of studying and then went for cell. tina shared! i admire her for sharing in english when she is not used to it yet. wow. we had 2 newcomers. one mel's friend...only 15 yrs old...omg...so young... then the other is someone's friend. forgot his name. anyway, learnt about the application of yoke in our life as the buffaloes. we are the young cow and jesus is the senior cow. the yoke is there to help carry the load and also to guide us on the right path while ploughing the field. break into smaller groups and we discussed about the topic- what is our definition of peace. in my group was steven (the joker as usual), ko arwin, francis, yee chin, melissa and kristen. i got to know them better when they shared. each and every one of us have different personalities and opinions. so at times, there will be clashes but of course, we have to be open-minded towards someone else's opinion. catch up with the rest after cell then went back home with val, mel, tina and sheila. before going home, we went to Yoyogi to accompany tina to buy her dinner. in the end, we also bought one for ourselves. haha. the power of friends.

slept from 12am all the way until 11am this morning. was super tired from last night. got headache and cold. took 2 capsules of VitC before bed.

rushed this morning for JoyKids BBQ and was late for 5 minutes or so. none of the parents were there yet, except for ci susie and katlene. she's this new, super adorable toddler who attends JoyKids for a while now. she's super cute and cheerful!!! love her to the max!

at about 12pm, more people started pouring in. my pastor helped to cook the meat. nadia faith cell leader helped to bbq the corn. then i helped to seasoned the corn. quite a dangerous job. because at random timing, there will be fire raging up amongst the corn lined up on the grill. scaryyyy.

what we did was mostly play with the kids. follow them run around the grass and bbq area was definitely an exercise. i was panting. like seriously. i wonder how these kids get their enthusiasm and spirit from. but i feel young again after playing with them. hihihiiii [= i seriously never regret becoming a joykids teacher. [= never ever!

after that, went back home. then guess where i go?
lygon's Cotton On!!! shoppingggggggggg. actually only accompanying eric buy his winter wear. buutttttttt... got tempted so i bought 5 pieces of stuffs. huahahhahaaa... one dress. 2 leggings. 2 cardigans tt i love!!! <3 [= then we went safeway to get our groceries. love grocery shopping! then to seasalt to get chips and sushi and drinks. i love their chips! so gooodddddd and still hot from the stove.

sally asked me out for dinner, with arlyn. but i said no. needa study. [=

after got home, i got down to reading some econs tute. so borinnnnnnnggggggg... felt sleepy. so i skyped with zel for about half hour. then back to study mode. but also chat on msn with people. facebooked some more. did those stupid quizzes that has no meaning whatsoever.

anyway, i am so procrastinating here by blogging. sigh. alright gtg study now. if not i dun know how i am going to fare in my econs assignment. zzzzzzzz

xoxo,
