PADANG is still home, no matter what happens.

last friday, i finally played basketball. brings back memories. however, i felt really sad cause i know that they cannot be re-lived again.

that saturday, i stayed home? i am not quite sure... brother returned from padang. sick.

on sunday morning/dawn, i woke up and i secretly drove our family's odyssey on the streets that's-not-so-busy-on 6-o'clock-in-the-morning. it was great! i am looking forward to the next one. it sure is an affirmation that i can drive such complicated machine. i used to think that i can never do it. hence it was a great accomplishment for me. which i hope with more practice, my confidence will be boosted further.

wanted to attend city harvest service at 10am last sunday. but because other members of my family were late, i had no choice but to attend bethany service. actually i prefer city harvest more than bethany. well, there are benefits for each church. like bethany, i can brush up my bahasa and get to spend time with my family. whereas in city harvest, my heart is touched more and my faith boosted a great deal. so i'm not that strong-headed about the church that i want to go. at least i go to at least one service and be renewed in my mind and spirit again, right? anyway, hopefully tomorrow i can attend the evening service.

then for the past three days or so, i was away. not in town. i flew from singapore to kl then to padang. it was supposed to just be a transit to kl but due to some sort of a mess-up, both mum and i were left stranded in kl airport. we had to wait so long and mum was grumpy. i tried to cheer her up by making her play cards with me. hehe. we also get a chance to eat McD and the waffles with ice cream while we waited. it was a very long wait we were bored. even the queue to buy the tickets were messy and frustrating. people were cutting in the queue which brought up a commotion later. at the same time, it was entertaining to watch them argue. this is not me being saddistic, but come on...i waited so long in the airport and it is boring without any drama happening. but of course, arguments are never a happy thing. it should be avoided by people taking more considerate and appropriate actions having to cohabit with one another, right?

anyway, so the story is that we had to stay overnight in kl. so either to sleep at the airport. or at some hotel somewhere. mum told me that luckily there's two of us and not one. who knows what can happen if we had to find a hotel on our own??? it could lead to something scary. i knew of a robbery before few years back that involved my uncle while we're shopping at klcc. anything is possible at the airport too right? thank God for sending us both. anyway in the process of everything, we met nice people who helped us find hotels and transportation which of course sounded right for us (although the taxi to the hotel was sort of dodgy, it was a van not at all like a taxi but the driver was pleasantly friendly). well, all we can do is try to keep safe and keep our guards high up throughout the night and lots of prayers... the next morning, we took a shuttle bus to the airport. and gosh was i sleepy.

what can i say about Padang? the last time i saw it was from the news reporting the 7.6 earthquake. that affected almost all of my family members cause that's where most of us were born. so basically it's our home. and the last thing we want Padang to be is destroyed. and the pictures and videos from those tv news really pictured a very destroyed Padang. not only were there lots of buildings collapsed and people dying, lots of survivors and residents moved away to safer places. hence what i saw just few days back was a cold and empty Padang city. it's so sad to see. even in my house, there were more cockroaches and ants crawling in my parent's bathroom. i had to double-check each time i wanna step into it. mum said it may be that the ground below is no longer that solid rock of earth but ocean water from the coast. lots of researchers were saying that Mentawai island is shifting, slowly sinking into the ocean. when i heard such things said, i can only pray and nothing more.

eventually, i believe everyone is left to their own beliefs and faiths at the end of the day. whether you believe it or not, no one can prove it to be right or wrong. it's a matter of how big is your faith. oh and talking about faith, i was told that today in m'sia the muslims were fighting against the chinese regarding Islam and Christianity. really...real mature you guys. does your God teach you to kill? to murder? to judge a book by its cover? i hope not. cause if that's the case, i can only pray for your judgment day. maybe only then you will realise and oops, it's too late. where is the love that God taught us? where is the forgiveness in all of the fighting? i'm really sick and tired of hearing about wars and fights between us people of one world, one Father. world peace is still a long long way to go.

so despite the tumbled buildings and cracks along the streets, i ate lots of really nice food. first there's the Harum Manis early in the morning. then Ci Elok with ako, kotio, parents and office people. tuayi came that evening and dad brought us to the new tee-box Karaoke bar for dinner. he got us the vip room and it was amazing. the room was president-suite and it made my voice beautiful (even if it is already sweet in the first place). we ate their nasi gorenng that was awesome. thumbs-up for the place and food! i think it's a great place for birthday parties and just to hang out. after which we visited kucik's house. then the next day, i had lontong which dad bought. for lunch we ate at Nasi Kapau. i didn't get to eat the ayam goreng that i wanted. i almost could feel myself tearing up the moment the lady gave me the wrong dish. but mum just told me to eat it. i was like *^#$&#*T@&T$#@$Y#U$Y#@$Y! anyway~ at night, dad and i ate at the new Apollo place with ako, kotio and kukong. the ikan pete belado was awesome! ako gave us some bapao to bring to singapore. i love bapao! hehe. this morning, we had to rush to the airport because we woke up late. mum didn't hear the alarm and i only woke up because tuayi did. it was kinda a natural alarm for me. lol oh and i also got a chance to play with my dog. well not really. but i did give it a bath and fed bones to it. but dad snatched them away cause he might get choked by them he said. poor binto. he was in his sitting position every time i said sit, after i gave him the bones. he was a good dog after all.

at the airport, mum and i bought nail polish. brown and pink. we had our meal at Marry Browns. the fried chickens were good! then i bought myself some bear gummies to chew on.

we arrived in sing at 4pm. cab-ed home. really nice to see my siblings again. they weren't exactly excited to see us. they're playing computer games in fact. sigh. why are they like that???

til here for now.

driving lessons.

the past few days seemed to be a blur.

i remembered going over to lyn private school for admin and parent's meeting. city college is kind of cool i guess. all the students there are fashionistas, i can say. with dyed hair, make-ups, heels, mini-shorts, spaghetti-stripes, piercings etc. i just hope that lyn will be better and not worse. it shall be a turning point for her to save her dream. and all our (my family) hopes are onto the school!

i did played golf, quite a few times already. however, i still sucked at it! boo. i was really impressed by dad. he swung the stick like really slowly, but the ball rocketed far into the horizon! i ever witnessed him hitting til 250m or so. once. it was truly inspiring. and i am so proud of him! (=

the past few days i have been really indulging in myself. relaxing and doing whatever i feel like doing. this is truly the best moment and most free times in my life. i have nothing to worry about. things going the way i want it to be. sometimes i just wish that things stay like this forever...

oh well, but you and me know it can never be that way.

everyday since tuesday, i have been practicing driving our Odyssey. i am not very good at it yet. but with the past practices during the holidays in indo in the past, i manage to familiarise myself with the basics. things like where is the brakes, gas, signal, gear 1, gear 2, gear D etc. in addition, mum (the coach for the time being) has taught me how to move backwards and parking. i still have a lot to learn for parking. as the saying goes, practice makes perfect. however, i have to be really careful when i am practicing. because first thing first, i don't have a licence yet. yep. that's the only reason actually that i am not supposed to drive. this is singapore. not indonesia. everything is by law here. they follow the law to survive here. unlike indo. people just do whatever they please. with money, they live in a lawless world there. so in order to drive here in sing, i need a licence. mum told me to get it in indo as it is expensive here. sigh.

helped mum wash the car today. our car is huge so washing it takes quite some time. my arms ached when i wiped the car dry. but no matter how tired that was, the outcome is definitely rewarding. our car looked totally shiny and new-ish. it was worth the hard work. something that i learnt. wash the car after a rain. and water is all that's needed (don't use soap).

tomorrow there will be FA at our house. i wonder what i can do then.

the reunion.

last night, brother and i went to meet with someone that took care of us while we're still young. she can be considered our caretaker. a guardian really. she is not a relative of ours, but someone that our parents trust very much for guiding and disciplining us all. she was the one who had to rush to Popular to buy my school needs even if it was a last minute call. mission impossible she said. and yet she still completed the many missions. for that, i am truly thankful to her.

it's been like 5 years since i last lived there. things have changed. i have changed too. compared to before, i can say that i am much more confident in myself. (that's partly because of her. she's the one that made me realise that side of me.) i am also much more independent than i used to. and lots of other improvements i'm sure. she herself has moved on as well. with her daughter now in k2 and husband working hard for the family, she still is taking care of some people, like michael, poul and victor. but much fewer than during my time. now she is investing most of her time on anwen. watching over her violin and piano practices. she's really made the most out of her daughter. and i am sure her daughter will surely succeed in the future.

we brought her kimchi that we bought from korea. not sure if she likes them.

in the end, there's so much to talk about. we hanged out at her place from 10.30pm to 2am. uncle said he will bring us go makan before we fly back to melb.

so glad to see poul and michael and everybody at #12-08 again. hope they can join in the lunch/dinner next time.

my own yo mama joke!

did sthg funny. inspired by Russell Peters yo mama joke. enjoy! (=

"Your mother so fat,
that when she jumps for joy,
she got stuck."

-start-
your mother so fat,
when she raised one leg,
she broke another.

your mother so fat,
that when she walked out the house,
she caused an eclipse.

your mother so fat,
that when she jumped for joy,
the pool is dry.

your mother so smelly,
when she walked out her house,
she turned into a garbage truck.

your mother so fat,
that the only photo she have,
is from the satellite.

your mother so fat,
that she cannot look down to her knee.

your mother so fat,
that she only get up to take the food.

your mother so fat,
that she has her own refrigerator.

your mother so ugly,
she is just nice for Halloween.

your mother so heavy,
she squashed her husband on the wedding day.

your mother so round,
she never stops rolling.

your mother so ugly,
even Michael Jackson said so.

your mother so fat,
she cannot get up from bed.

your mother so fat,
that sumo is her only sporting choice.

your mother so ugly,
God think twice before putting her down to this Earth.

GREEN DAY- 21st Century Breakdown

had fun recording our voices yesterday at home with the mic and the recording software. it really caught our voice well. the result is clean. hence it was a joy singing into it and listening the outcome, knowing that it's definitely clear. (=

in the evening, we attended GREEN DAY concert! it was a huge success. people, lots of malays and caucassians, were streaming in from all sides of the stadium. and the vibe is definitely high over there. we all bought green day tees. inside i changed my clothes and we entered the theatre, welcomed by booming loud music that's bursting my eardrums. it's like a freaking club in there! i hope mum and dad were alright. as a result, we couldn't call or talk to each other through the electric guitar and drum. we had to shout at the top of our lungs, just to get our message through to my brother sitting beside. what a crazy night it had been! =D

of course, it was crazily FUN! it was the best concert i've ever attend in my whole life, so far. i wasn't familiar with most of their songs, except Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Wake Me Up When September Ends, 21 guns, American Idiot. when a familiar song came on, it was the most exciting part for me. i literally was jumping up and down at the peak. anyway, lots of people (especially the three malay boys in front of us who looked like they are crazy over ALL of green day songs) were jumping up and down too. well, GREEN DAY did mentioned that he likes crazy in the beginning, so there goes people being so ever crazy.

we stood up for the entire 2.5 hours GREEN DAY played their songs. we, meaning those who were feeling crazy. (i really felt the sore after exiting the theatre.) the rest of the people were sitting down and some even left halfway when GREEN DAY "ended" their concert. in the end GREEN DAY returned once more on stage and sang so much more songs! it was great! luckily we stayed and shouted for GREEN DAY to come back. haha. and for most of the songs, we audience could sing them well and loudly so Joe Billy Armstrong (vocalist and guitarist) just played the guitar and smiled at the audience. smts he even got down to his knees to buy to us. lol. what a sight. when he told us to scream, he even commented that Singapore is louder than America! that's shocking. well actually there's lots of caucassians (maybe Americans) in the audience, but still they're the singaporean audience. a bit of irony there. anyways.

GREEN DAY was loads of fun! they shot tees in the air using a canon shotgun. they sprayed water to the audience. they sprouted rolls of tissue over the audience. he also invited audience to come on stage, sang his songs and then once they ended to jump to the audience. surprisingly, some of the audience were so enthusiastic and already behaving like a star. they jumped both feet high into the air, synchronized their act to the beat of the music and the lightings and all. it was really a joy to us. and my most memorable one is that Joe Billy Armstrong revealed his bare butt to us for about 0.6 second. lol! it was so hilarious. cracked everybody up.

however back home after the concert and all, i googled GREEN DAY as i was curious about its members. and what did i find that shocked me even more? is that the three members are all 37 now. that's like 5 years younger than my mum. and yet they're still behaving like a teenager. how is that possible? and they're all dads. yet they're like so punk and all. how are they ever gonna educate their children? what an interesting find out. that this world is really crazy!!!

this morning, i was supposed to go check my cholesterol level but i refused. for some reason. maybe i will do it next year. i just have to remember to exercise more than last year and eat less seafood? then later in the evening, i will be accompanying my brother to the optical clinic down @wisma atria, then meeting zel and elaine at 6 later @orchd. it's been a while since we last hang out.

The Law of Happiness.

oh mans. i am such a greedy girl. today i felt really bad that i shopped a lot. excessively. my mum said that she couldn't buy anything today because both my brother and i spent so much today. how sad. okay. tmr onwards i shan't buy anything. i want to promise myself this. who am i to spend all the money away? it's not mine to use. mary! wake up! you are not a princess, but a girl who still has not know how to value money yet. so ashamed of myself for always buying stuffs that i want, not need. sorry mummy and daddy.

shouted at dad today over the phone. why? cause he was so naggy. and i was also not in the best of moods at that time, plus he kept on pushing the buttons (about clearing the stuffs from his IBM), that i just raised my voice. thinking about it now, it's really nothing. he's older anyhow. that's how parents are. naggy. i should just tolerate it. well, apparently i got lots to learn still. first, to control my mood accordingly to circumstance. act in the best of other people's interest instead of my own. well well.

today i collected my new passport from indo embassy. ate nasi campur that i love. then realised that we were supposed to come in the evening, not afternoon, for the collection. so we left to somerset 313 instead and check out the shops there. found lots of interesting products in the Action City store. i just feel like buying the whole shop right there and then. what a cool shop! great place for buying souvenirs there. bought my third nail polish from FaceShop- shiny blue. within 4 days. i know right. i have some serious problem i need to dig into i see now. argh! changing the topic, the nasi padang from FoodRepublic on lvl5 was excellent! the best nasi padang so far in singapore i say. you guys should try it there too sometime if you have the time. worth a try. well then after that, we went to robinsons, supermarket. saw the rabbit from the pet shop. how i wish i have a pet! that would be awesome!

stopped by Kinokuniya store today and happened to pick up one of Andrew Matthews books, Be Happy. i found something interesting about happiness. a question addressed whether it is selfish to be happy. the answer is simple, according to the author. no. being happy is not at all selfish. whereas, being unhappy is selfish. so people, be happy! when we're unhappy, we tend to focus all attention on yourself. but with a light heart, you shall bring happiness to others. well, why i find it interesting is that these past few days, i find that my life is getting quite tiresome. i don't understand really why. hmm. when i felt that way, i tend to shut myself up and i know that it's unhealthy. but after reading it, i begin to think about my behaviour and think of ways to change it. well, i am still learning and finding my way in this world. the more i think, the more i see myself as a little girl still. with no principle and no priorities in life. how can i improve on myself? the least i will do is to pray. that's all i could think of for the time being...

tmr gonna see my guardian, finally. it's been ages since i last see her and the people who i live with in the past in the house. like poul, michael etc. she gave us duck meat, pork meat sometime back and we haven't really thank her properly for that. i bet her daughter anwen has already grown so much bigger.

no pictures for the day.

i can't understand that thick English accent in the movie. bleah.

slept at 3am yesterday? uploading the photos on facebook and blogger sure requires lots of patience. believe me, i have a lot of those "i can't take this anymore" thoughts while uploading. especially when facebook screws up and the little white box says "Upload failed. Please try again." well how many times must i try? hello? i've already waited for like 3 hours???

so then i woke up today reluctantly, out of bed. church. lunch @Rendezvous. yumm~ home. golf-ed. (we had in total 250 balls and 4 people altogether.) home again. yishun to eat the super delicious nasi briyani there. watched Sherlock Holmes after that. and who agrees that it suck? i do. so not worth watching. well, i guess if you want to kill time then it's fine. but if you want something worth it, i bet watching It's Complicated or Did You Hear About The Morgans will be much better. yawned so many times during the early part of the movie. i took some pictures, one with my brother i so rarely have a photo taken with. well, we seldom hang out.

tmr gonna collect passport from indo embassy. there's a chance to eat the nasi campur over there. haha.

i'm gonna get my sleep now. tata.

best of both worlds.

yesterday finally meet up with the girls. it was a moment of catching up with lots of stories told. heart warming. yet refreshing at the same time cause we haven't seen each other since 6 months ago? like yy, she has started to work since her jc is over. my has some bgr prob, as usual. (LOL) jl blissed with her bf, which we all envy...
first, met my. then jl @tpy. ate Swensens. the pastas jl chose were delicious. and we got a 1-for-1 promotion offer, which was wonderful. after that, both me and jl went to orchd. i shopped while she showed me the dress that her friend wanted to buy. she kept on sms-ing her friend while i tried on the clothes. then jl showed me the super scary escalator that i dared not take. lucky i did not cause it started raining cats and dogs. or else we might slipped and... oh my. then i had to buy this 7-11 umbrella to shelter both of us to cineleisure from central. it cost only $6.60. met xueli outside cineleisure with her friends and one girl actually came up to me and said HEY. she looked so familiar, yet i couldn't seem to remember her name! when i asked her name, she became quite disappointed. then i remembered that it's sthg qi. when i probed somemore, she wouldn't tell me so i asked xl and turned out she's shu qi from anderson primary school, from pris class. lol. how am i supposed to remember?!? it's been what?!? 7 years-9 years? well, it was good that she can remember me. hehe. so we watched Alvin & Chipmunks 2 @cineleisure and it was definitely funny! =D i love theodore and elanore! so cuteee like balls!

after the movie, met the rest of the girls @lucky plaza. i recommended all of us to eat at Ayam Penyet Ria. surprisingly all of us can eat chilli and the response from them is all positive after the meal. duh. who ever hates that resto?! after we finished our meal, we took pictures and lots of it! i hope they upload them asap. hehe. so far only me and my did. but not jl. lastly, we strolled around ion and jl bought a checkered bag for her friend, from the very shop that i bought my canvas bag from. asa! i love that shop. on the way back i took mrt. it's been a long long time since i last took one. all the while, it's been our own private car. it feels weird actually. like you don't have privacy, if you want to like camwhore etc. can be a little bit limiting. anyway, it's good that there's the girls there to make me feel home even with so many people surrounding us.

today, was supposed to go out with the girls again. but mum asked me to go Jurong Bird Park with her and my sis. so i had to turn down my friends. feel really bad. but if i have to choose between family and friends, sorry to say, but honestly i will go for family. not that i don't value my friends but i value my family more. fair enough? i think most of my close friends understand that well already for now. so please don't hate me for being this way. =(

well, i thought that the bird place was the same old boring attraction ground. but i was dead wrong. i truly enjoyed myself today! so much! we were so so close to the birds...like i took pictures holding the parrots on a wooden stick and the photo was inserted into a snowglobe and it came out truly amazing! <3

stopped by the finest Australian cafe for a sandwich. then we got to experience our own feeding the birds moment. we were in a free-flight aviary. so basically around us lots of parrots were perching on the wood, random people's shoulder (so friendly!) and on our cups! but we had to be careful though not to smack right into a flying bird, because obviously some bird just don't get that we're still not used to being around them. they flapped their wings so mightily around us. i was shocked quite a number of times by them taking flight, like within a second. arghhh! we get to feed the birds the pollen juice that we bought for $3 in a cup! we took turns holding the cup for photo-taking. i will never ever forget the birds jumping onto the edge of the cup i was holding and licking into it. it was totally heartwarming. whenever i pulled the cup away, it used its beak to draw it back closer again. aww. but somehow, my arm developed some rashes after that. i have no idea where that came from. (i am well now.) and that was our last activity of the day because my lil sister got tuition at 7. but given the little time that we spent at the park, it was so fulfilling. (= lots of memories and photos taken! thanks mum for bringing us there today!!! <3

Facebook for pictures that will sure tempt you to play @Jurong Bird Park! (=

played Texas Hold'em Poker with my two brothers and lil sis (after her tuition) earlier on. lost twice and won once. terrible. i hate losing sometimes.

tmr will be watching Sherlock Holmes w/ my two brothers over @Yishun GV. booked the tix so we're ready to go after church! hope that it's better than what i expected.

having a wisdom tooth suck!

yesterday, golf-ed at Sin Min avenue with mum and bro. it started to rain whenever we approached the area. even when we're eating at novena @ the super delicious chicken rice stall, the rain started pouring, lightly then cats and dogs later. when we returned to the golf area, it drizzled somemore. i bet the clouds were chasing after us that day! it seemed to be! well despite all the rain and humidity, we had fun most importantly. i hope we can return there again soon, but have to wait for my dear thumbs to heal first from all the friction. i kinda forced myself to hit those 50 balls really fast and non-stop. bubbles appeared that night after gym-ed.

today woke up early. collected my IC @ MOM. then did passport renewal @ indo embassy. after that, went to kinokuniya taka to exchange the dvd that's faulty and then to my dental appointment regarding my wisdom tooth. actually the whole day my mind was filled with the thought of wisdom tooth surgery. heard that it's painful. so i asked the doctor whether it's true.

turned out the surgery has lots of side effects. scariest of all is that my face will definitely swell for 3 days max after the surgery. noooooo... that's super scary. plus it will be painful around the area as well. the doctor talked about stitches and drilling and the thought of it made my heart freeze. how can i possibly go through all of that? i told him all my worries and he said that for my case (looking at the xray film), that it should be no big problem. actually there's no risk involved. because the wisdom tooth is far away from some nerves along my jaw. so it is not something that needs worrying. i was honestly very relieved to hear that. but should i do the surgery then? should i not? HOW??? i asked mum for advice and she encouraged me to do it. called my dad and he said that he had it done before and it's not painful. so i should do it right? =( well, dr lim said that if i don't act fast and leave the teeth there, food particles might accumulate in between the neighbouring teeth and cause tooth decay and that will be a major problem and lots of pain for sure. i guess i have no choice now, have i?

after that, mum and i walked around ion and taka while eric had his haircut. i finally bought the tank top that i've been wanting from mango. turned out it only cost $60 plus. not $99. but still expensive. mum said i have to take care of it really really well. no machine washing, just rinse in warm water and dry. also i bought taiwan hand-painted sneakers. it's really cute! =D then bought watches. necklaces that's super sweet. tees. and plastic earrings. (i am quite sensitive to the metal ones, i may develop headaches wearing them for too long.) happy day mostly, apart from the wisdom tooth consultation. really ruined my day!

my plan for tomorrow? gonna go to Duke NUS to collect some samples of MCAT books. then go meet up with my friends from secondary! been long time since we seen each other! quite excited honestly. have they changed? i hope they have, for the better that is. (=

well, gonna go watch my korean drama "my fair lady" now. then have a beauty sleep. tml morning swim maybe 5 laps? haha. that's exercising enough for me. LOL well, let's see how tomorrow goes...

Sentosa trip '10!

yesterday was much fun. although tiring.

mum, erica, vani, nadya, albert and i went sentosa for some fun. and we did found it quite easily. it's really hard not to have fun in there. even for me, i've been there lots and lots of times to that place (that the sound of sentosa is sick to my ears and i'm not bragging, just stating the fact), it's really hard not to have fun there. few laughs. some excitement. first, it's probably due to the sight of the crowd. it's so fun sometimes having had to rush for the line to get tickets, like to the 4D show. or hearing children laugh. but on the other hand, it's a real pain in the a** having to queue for like an hour and then realise that the ride only takes 5 minutes. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!

anyway, sentosa changed a lot since the last time i've been there. like 2 years ago maybe. the cable car is under renovation so we had to take the sentosa express mrt-like transportation system. it was freaking crowded with lots of people from all over the world. but most of all, there are the indonesians and indians. sentosa was swarming with lots of us. i bet a tenth of singapore housing is already accommodated by indonesians and indians. sorry, fellow singaporeans. i dun mean to say that indonesians and indians have similar taste, no no, they're so very different i have to say. but judging from yesterday's overall crowd, the first place goes to indians. second place goes to indons. hey, why am i ranking them in the first place? sorry, my bad. lame.

another change about sentosa is that i saw the construction that they're making, perhaps, for the casino? and also i saw some Universal Studio-like globe within the construction areas, along with Disneyland castles (but not as gigantic as those in Disneylands) and huge rollercoaster tracks. i am kinda excited to look forward to visiting sentosa again. but maybe in two years time? til then, i hope that it's all ready!

the best ride yesterday i would say is the Segway Fun Ride. the best of the best, for sure!!! (=
ok. the picture showed me stressing. but that's just the beginning people. i didn't know that it's so much fun after getting used riding on it. i saw the staffs do a drift with it! so cool! (=

gonna upload more pictures on Facebook. so stay tune!!!

we head home at around 10pm. so so tired. rested immediately after i got home.

today early in the morning, some drama happened in the house (i shall not name anyone for privacy). well there's church @ bethany. then ayam penyet for lunch. after that, we went to plaza singapura. bought hello kitty mechanical pencil and automated pencil plus really cute ez-link card sticker. (i hope to use it in melbourne for the ez-link thingy as well, cause melbourne transportation is taken over by singapore company so we'll be using ez-link type of system too over there. LOL.) caught Avatar finally. omg. the movie is serious fun! like it? love it! but i'm quite disappointed to see all the human beings killed. the main character is quite a betrayer, come to think of it. i dun know. i just think that he should just remain being a human being instead of becoming that monster forever. but it's understandable that he would want to remain as the monster because he got no legs in real life. oh wells. who would not die for a pair of legs if they haven't got one and those really cool monsters that they fly around with?!? come on!!!

ate frog porridge for dinner then home sweet home~

tomorrow school begins again for most schools. aww~ as for me, i get to still enjoy my holiday as much as i want to! huahaha.

Gone with the Old. Welcome to the New!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010, EVERYONE!

whew. a year has passed and a new year has begun. i still can't believe it. it just feels like yesterday. no difference at all. i still feel like the same old me a year ago or two years ago. hmm. but that's a negative assumption on my part i guess, of course i do have changes. positive or negative, i am sure that i am being mold into a better person. i just know it.

watch the fireworks on tv yesterday. but it's the same old fireworks every year. nothing new or special. i feel unimpressed. anyway who am i to criticise. i am just an ordinary person who is not contributing whatsoever to this society. maybe shopping-wise, i did have a small contribution but apart from that, i have less and less faith about myself. bad huh?

yesterday after the new year celebration at a hotel, we saw my sister and her friends passed us by. it was a pretty shocking coincidence. little did we expect that they would be there. i wondered what they could possibly be doing there in that little unknown and insignificant mall. my sis friend was so haughty. she could have at least said hi to us or something. it's not as if she hasn't seen us before? maybe she's just simply too young to understand simple, basic courtesy to elders.

after that for dinner, we ate at Tony Romas. i had half-slab ribs like i wanted. corn soup plus potato skin for side dishes. yumm. it was satisfying indeed.

actually planned to go to Marina Bay to watch the fireworks but felt kinda lazy. so stayed at home instead and watched it on tv with my cousins. but i didn't regret not going because i'm sure it's damn packed there and we might get stuck in traffic for another hour? HALLELUJAH LORD!

today while everybody in the house went out, except for my maid, i stayed at home. watched korean drama. watched Primetime- this comedy show my cousin introduced me. this girl named JengKellin is similar to MsSwan from MadTV. it's freaking hilarious. really made my whole afternoon and evening time when i watched it with my maid.

tomorrow they're going Sentosa. supposed to be just now, but there's been change of plans i think. i don't know whether i should follow or not. hmm.

alright, gonna play Monopoly with them soon. like now.
