who is Stephen Tong?

went to watch a seminar by Stephen Tong yesterday. originally from China. the guy was so funny! he got this funny accent that i know is not 100% from jakarta. somehow it's a bit sumatera-ish. lol anyway his seminar extended to 4 hours long. at first i was still able to fully concentrate and absorb, but 2 hours later, my brain just switched off. too long i think. my brain is not that focused. oh well. but anyways anyhow, i totally did not regret skipping oikos to listen to the seminar. i learnt lots from it. he said that chirstian's growth is similar to a caterpillar's. why? go figure! (=

he said he travelled 300 times in a year. is that even possible? preached 500 times in a year? oh well. maybe since he's a missionary, anything is possible. but......still...........

although he said lots of stuffs that makes sense, some parts seemed weird to me. like he criticised pastors for being fake. one of them is benninghin. WHAT!? i admire that dude!!! don't speak of him like that. come on. that was one part that made me go speechless.

today got up late for tennis lesson. but i still managed to make it. met tahnee at my house downstairs. ilona did not come because she had long night yesterday. we met our new coach Jackie. James broke his leg so he couldn't continue with our lessons anymore. actually jackie was awesome. kinda like the way she teach us. so everything is cool i guess.

after the one-hour lesson, i rushed back and got changed for singing practice at Sekretariat. it's been so long since i last visited that place, where we used to have cell group there. i reached latest compared to the others, and ci michelle told me that i don't have to be the back-vocal tml because i am still new and not familiar with the singing and all. which i agree. i don't want to go up-stage and sing in my way and ruin everybody's effort today. no way. so i was told that i can come for 1-2 more singing practices then i will be ready to sing in church. can't wait! ^-^

i wanna get a haircut... kinda badly... should i go later? but i will be the only one cutting. i wish someone can accompany. hehe

tonight, Purpose Finders is finally having our planned dinner! @ Oriental Spoon 7.30pm! yeshh! Korean Food!!! *woots*
