Samaritan's Purse

yesterday, went to Mitcham train station. volunteered for this huge organization led by Aussie church near the station. it's helping pack Christmas presents in shoeboxes for the underprivileged kids in developing countries, such as Vietnam. the in-charge also said that the shoeboxes will be sent to indonesia as well due to the recent earthquakes. i am so glad i was given the opportunity to do so. i know someone somewhere out there will receive the shoebox i arranged and be blessed tremendously by the gifts inside. we stayed there from 9.30pm till about 3pm. it was a great day indeed.
ate dinner with valerie and tahnee at norsiah. tahnee couldn't finished her rice again. haha. i gave val the markers i helped her to buy in Padang and also, some keripik belado. she loved it. hehe. then i helped tahnee moved her books to her place. there's so many of them thus the luggage was heavy. but together, it became lighter. at her place, heena the housemate let me try her cooking. even though it was not that fantastic, but i admired her passion for cooking. until now, i still can't cook well. how can i improve? i think cookbooks are lame cause i know there's definitely an easier way to do it than how they make you do.

woke up late for church. an hour. also, i was supposed to arrive 30 minutes before church for joy kids. but i am thankful that ci lina understands and didn't scold me at all. she is such a great woman!
so many people asked me about padang earthquake. really touched that so many people cared. Padang, you have to be strong!!! ^-^
after church, went to nelayan with the others. after that, i went to melbctrl. bought bday cards, books at borders and umbrellas at pharmacy store. i actually wanted to give one to my brother, but he said that it's too girly. so right now, i have 2 umbrellas! more than enough preparation in case of bad weather. hehe
bought for brother food from Nasi Padang resto. then we went to safeway after that for groceries. and later i will be doing my revision. exam's coming soon!!!
