hello. the holidays are here! actually for about 2 months now and this is the first time i've blogged since! so much has happened and i apologize for not updating them all. i will write as much as i can and as much as i can remember. (=

first of all, before anyone is about to read on this post of mine, i would like to say that this is gonna be one personal issue that i would be discussing tonight. this is just my private thought and anyone may disagree with them. but i will still put it down on this blogsite of mine. again, i will mention that this is my own private space for thoughts. it's up to anyone to read it or not.

it never occur to me so strongly in my mind before as to why some people get sick while not others. after watching 4 episodes of the popular Jap drama "1 litre of tears", i couldn't help but wonder why some disease choose to pick certain individuals. it's not like this topic or whatever explanation hasn't been said before by experts in the field (be it religiously or medically). but just that i haven't really thought about sickness myself yet. while watching one of the episodes, a thought passed through my mind that maybe, perhaps, by allowing people to be sick, God is showing others how fortunate they are and teach them to build up compassion and love with those who are less fortunate. this thought is simple, yet it has changed the way i look at disease/sickness now. and putting this matter into consideration, i want to bring forth this perspective into my future career being a medically-related worker. i am so glad i thought about this right before i start my honours degree and entering the workplace. (=

currently, my dream is simply to bring hope to those who are sick (whether curable or incurable) to not give up on their lives and have compassion and love towards them. oh God, i pray that if this is what you want my life to be, please let it happen. if not, then show me otherwise.

hence i am sealing this post with the above prayer and i place my future into Your Hands God.

p.s. my brother Arnaldo is accepted at Taylors College for February intake today! i am super happy for him!!! hopefully, he will excel and enter the best university. i can see that my mum and dad were really relieved to hear the good news. praise the Lord!
also, below is a photo of my new puppy. he's really x1000 irresistible and cute! we decided to name it Bruno. it has went for its last puppy vaccination at the clinic and behaved really well during the jab. impressed! surprisingly, the vet was an aussie. oh well, Bruno's almost 5 months old now (was 3 months old before). have a good look if you're curious. (=
