thrilled to be at HiSense Arena tonight for Hillsong ONE DAY Concert. it's a pity i couldn't go from the morning. but i'm just glad i made it for the night session. Hillsong Band is indeed awesome! just awesome. they are truly an inspiration. through their music (talents), they're bringing people closer to God. i too someday would like to have my own band and make music that is filled with praise and glory.
i went with my brothers and a friend. even though we left the house at 6.10pm, we could still make it to the place at 7.10pm. we even had time to eat take-away burger from HJ and walked 3 tram stations down to the venue from Flinders, all because the tram was too packed with people going the same place too! i'm glad we walked instead of taking the public transport because that gave me a chance to catch up with my friend about her life. magically, the concert started when we got seated. it should have started 10 minutes ago. it's as if God is waiting for us to arrive before the concert began! indeed, God shows favour to His children. (=
i have to say the concert hall was terrible though. our seating position was too high that it's scary. i might fall down if the person in front of me is not standing up. i'm serious. (well, it's too complicated to explain in words.) but apart from that, the music rocked!!! i believe our love towards Jesus is refreshed again tonight. thanks be to Hillsong band!
Pst Casey Treat gave a short sermon about VISION which i really really paid attention to. He stressed that having a vision is important. MY VISION IS WHAT I GET IN THE FUTURE. Don't let the world get the vision from being out of focus. how do you get a vision one may ask? the answer is to ask from God Himself and sometimes, to get a vision, it needs to be done away from the crowd (people who are keeping you blind). i am really pleased that God has already given me a vision and i am on the way to make it come true. God uses vision to bring people close to Him as well, which i very much agree on as well. i thank Him for the ministries and cell group that i'm now a part of, that i can learn to be selfless in serving the church and God. Hallelujah only be to God!
oh God, what would i do without You? You are the reason we are even alive today. every second of my days i long to be with You and also, to praise Your name.
tomorrow i'm gonna skype with him again. why do i feel anxious about it? oh God, please help me understand what i'm going through. 3 more days to my birthday, which means i will get older. his gift came first.
