stayed home on tues. woke up kinda late. packed the house. cooked. watched da xiao ai chi on utube. at night, helped a friend move her stuffs back to her hse. she is still having her exam at that time. as for me, DONE! (:
met fuihan on wednesday. supposed to swim. but realised that my goggles were left in singapore! and i hate swimming w/o goggles on. so cancelled it. luckily my friend that was suppsed to swim with me cancelled it first because she couldn't get up from bed. so we had lunch instead @Big Fish resto chinatown. i love the spicy fish there i tell you. yumm. after that, i went shopping. spent almost $300 i think in total. had so much fun! jes brought along her polaroid and we snapped a shot @Sportsgirl. t'was a happy happyyy day! (: at night, i went out dinner with my church friends. it was kinda a farewell for valerie, to those who are going back for hols, and to celebrate the end of exams! we had korean and took lots of pictures! hehehe. never fails to happen with the oikos. that is our trademark i think. then after that, i rushed back cs to pass my friend my hse key and went back again to meet them. at last, we splitted as some wanted to go Mckers while the rest had some other things to do. i happened to follow my dearest friend Valerie to collect empty carton boxes around convenience store etc. why? because i wanted to spend time with her before she goes for her exchange in US, Seattle for 6 long months. i am so gonna miss her for sure. she's been such a dear friend to me and never fails to encourage me in my uni life and church. i cannot imagine how my life will be like in church and other times without her. ): we went her bf's hse as well to get boxes. looking at the two of them really makes me feel like i'm in need of a bf. hahas. ok i think i sound so desperate just now. actually i'm not yet ready for a relationship i think. with friends it's already enough. hehe. that night before we slept, tahnee and i watched korean drama like we planned to.
thursday was the day that i flew back to singapore. and there's so many things to do! wash the clothes, clean the toilet kitchen living dining bedrooms, clear the fridge, pack my luggage, throw rubbish, register for house leave, meet up with kim and jes for lunch, do 4x6 pass photo in city and ALL was done before 2pm! i was so in a rush out of house that i left my phone in the toilet. silly me. i was already on the tram when i realised what i had forgotten behind. ate @DessertHouse for lunch with the girls. they accompanied me to do the passphoto after that. waited for the starbus to come at 2pm. it took forever for it to arrive. luckily it hadn't start to rain cats and dogs yet at that time. phew. but i was really worried that the bag of leftover food i had left outside cs for any beggars/homeless to take advantage of be ruined under all that rain. i was imagining the loaf of bread sipping wet and turning mouldy the next day on the bus ride. so sorry i did not put it under shelter. oh well. met this girl who also happened to be waiting for the bus. she is singaporean commerce first year. she's also worried that the bus was so late. there's also 2 more singaporean girls beside us and they were talking supper loudly in the bus. give me some peace man. while queuing to check in, this old lady in front of me was having ticks. it is something like the one i see on Oprah with Parkinson's and other kind of syndrome. i helped her adjust her luggage because it kept on falling down. her husband did not seem to care at all. he was pulling his own luggages in front of her. not turning back once to check on the wife. how sad it must be for the woman. while waiting for boarding, this african woman got interviewed by this girl about her trip to melb. she was asked all sorts of questions and i was hoping i was not asked the same later. so i got out a book and began to absorb myself on the book. i had just started reading it. bought it in Borders near my house. it's called The Power of Small. lots of stories in there that open up my eyes on the significance of getting the small details in my life right. i think it's useful and i need some wise advices to work on my future success right? currently, i'm in the Chap 2.
and on the plane, i sat on the aisle seat (yyyiiiippppiiieee) so that i can stretch my legs out and go to the toilet with ease. hehe. watched Julie & Julia, Trail of Panda and another movie that the name i forgot. the passenger sitting beside me was so grouchy during the trip. she seemed to be unhappy about the stewardess that were in service or sthg. actually i don't really like the SQ service. i prefer Emirates more. i feel that the SQ stewardess don't really serve the passengers but more like they just want to get the job done and that's it. and so they missed out a lot of special requests that passengers want to make, like wanting for more wine like the passengers beside me. the woman said, "i shall ask her for wine later when she is looking this way." sounds like the stewardess doesn't really look at the needs of the passengers? i dun know. somehow at that time, it felt like that. that night, eric and naldo went to the airport to fetch me. then we had to send my passport to uncle's place. after that, home sweet home. it's good to be back i tell you!yesterday morning, swam with erica. saw pamela and her brother swimming also. we intend to meet up. hehe. in the afternoon, went to Grange Residence to visit my grandparents. they are becoming older i can tell. i'm happy i get to see them in singapore where it's safe with no earthquakes and tsunamis. it rained for a while then stopped. in the evening, went shopping with mum, dad, erica and eric. i was hoping my sister and brother can come as well. but they got some other plans. was supposed to watch a movie that day but eric was feeling unwell because of too many people? so we cancelled it. went for dinner at Ion. japanese yuumm. had Bibimbab which is korean. haha. our cousin turned up only after we were done. we bought sushi for him. eric and ming left and the rest of us continued shopping. hehe. i got a jacket for the trip to korea/hk from Zara for $129. mum bought this really cool headband! can you imagine? my mum with a headband. even her daughter is not as cool as her. lol.
today, it rained heavily in the afternoon. we purchased movie tickets to New Moon for later at night already online. my sister is watching with us too! nice. oh and i just found out from my sister that lyn had 2 tattoos on her. then my dad took photos of them using his camera. one on her wrist says 'desole' means i'm sorry. one down her side body, kinda long sentence in foreign language saying she's a bad daughter. i totally won't have a tattoo on my body or whatsoever. i thought about it before of just getting a small star or butterfly or flower on my wrist but the thought of the needle piercing through my skin and the possibility of infecting HIV is omg no way! so i shall just stay clean and free from HIV. shiverssssss. i shall go bathe now. *hehe*
