NIGHT MARKET: SUCCESS!

today seemed like a dream.
woke up at 5.50am today. rushed to bathe and reached union house arnd 7am. oh ya and my day started out really embarrassing. i actually wore the MUOSS shirt the other way round. and the MUOSS people were like so shocked when they saw me walking in the lounge area. so stupid! urgh! after i fixed my shirt, i helped out with whatever i could. we pumped balloons and hung them arnd campus. so fun! took lots of pictures together with tahnee. i think she was the only one who remembered to bring her camera out while holding 10 helium balloons out in the strong melbourne wind!~ [=

went for class at 9am. bought caffe latte with tahnee and brought it to lecture.
cause i went in with the MUOSS shirt, many people just realised that i joined MUOSS. oh well.
it started to pour really heavily during my econs tutorial. zel and i had to cover our heads with scarf/jacket and ran all the way to the Med bldg, where we had to make a pit-stop at ballieu lib. our feet was soaking like crazy when we reached the lecture theatre. i actually walked barefooted when i had to pass some lecture notes to other people sitting at the back during lecture. lol i had to dry my sandals and feet!
went to eat with zel and wala at Lygon. jap food! [= wala left shortly, leaving only me and zel. we talked until the rain stopped.
went back home. went fb-ing adn slack.
walked out of the house and passed xy my tennis racket before i rushed to union house.
tahnee was sleeping! she was really tired she said. well, i could understand. from 6am until 4pm she's volunteering and studying nonstop. blah!
it was showering on and off from 3 to 5pm. so all of us were hesitating about the event and stuff. cause of course, if it was still raning when the opening ceremony was supposed to start then it's not fun anymore.
but guess what?! it stopped raining at exactly 5.30pm when the official opening began! cool rights? so we did everything that's planned out! [= i even got to carry the burning torch! yeepees!
after that i attended the MUOSS booth. moosa instructed us on whatever we should be doing: collecting tickets and giving out great stuffs in exchange! i think this job is so cool! the Best!!!
also we were given free $5 food coupon so me and this new friend of mine xinqi were given permission by the OBs to get a break. so we walked around and got really good deals. because apparently i met many of my trinity friends and asked them to get us good deals! and we ended up getting more than we should! woots!
once, i was sent to the PPIA booth and helped them light the stove. it was so scary because the PPIA people actually didn't turn off the gas completely yet. so they kinda had to off it first then i was so happy when the stove lighted up really smoothly without any harm done. moosa congratulated me for doing a good job for that. [=
people after people started to pour in as it got darker. what a carnival tonight was! it's my first NIGHT MARKET and hopefully not the last one! LOL
we had a long photo-taking session after that, with all the OSAs, OBs and committee members! [=
then we packed up the booth- we were the last one standing! cause we are COOL y'all!!!~
left at 11pm with xinqi. i kinda made her walk with me along swanston st by telling her that leicester st is dangerous. and anyway it really is! it's well-known for burglary cases.
i am really happy that i joined MUOSS because it really did not let me down one bit. can say i made lots of new friends who are willing to share about themselves quite openly. so we bonded pretty fast actually. hopefully this friendship will not just stay within MUOSS, but branch out further.
total i earned 2x3+7hrs today! 17 hrs more to go... weeeeeeeeeex~
1.39am here alr. gotta go sleep. actually i feel like i am half-awake as i am typing all these now... haha.
