eric and i were so hungry that we ordered 3 dishes of food! hehe
1) roti prata (curry wasn't very good)
2) nasi briyani + chicken! (our all-time favourites)
3) nasi goreng (nice!!!)
4) not to be forgotten: TEH TARIK! (slurp)
we ate til we're sooooooooo freaking full. perhaps we're not gonna eat there anymore for the next 6 mths or so we joked ytd. haha. about their restaurant, i really like the place, especially their tv show. we watched the indian music videos and it was surprisingly fun to watch. lol i could recognise this guy who always appear in the indian show in indo tv long long ago, maybe to present still. who knows right.
after our meal, we walked along Elizabeth st since it's still raining. we couldn't catch the tram because there's train conductor + no ticket = danger! better not.
went 7-11 to get eric's junk foood for his school camp today. then also to JB Hi-Fi. eric bought a digital alarm clock + radio for only $30! such a good deal. i was eyeing the $189 alarm clock + iPod player + radio. almost tempted to buy it la. but i think best to ask dad first for second opinion. [=
went home in the cold again. it is seriously cold.... there were smoke coming out from our mouth! man is there really global warming??? how come this weather appear out of nowhere. so weird.
oh and i've been using my grey contact lens for the past four days. still not used to it 100% yet. but i'm lovin' it! [=
as for today, i am going to stay home to study. maybe 4 lectures of bio and then econs for last.
ohhhh also i went for table duty today for MUOSS 11-Day Central America Camping event. jun jing and i actually circled around the UH tables to give out the fliers and also promote the camp to lots and lots of people. maybe we circled round 10 tables. quite tiring and scary to talk to new people, but i just do it anyways. quite fun and sthg new. yeehooei, christine, steph and beatrice were also around for duty.
ohhh ohhhh and yesterday me and tahnee went for pinning up posters for this event from 5 to 6pm. we met samantha on the way so later the three of us did our duty together. we went to archi and education building to pin the posters up on the noticeboard. tahnee got pricked in her hand because of the sharp thumbtacks. poor her. she was sucking it the whole time. we talked and chatted. samantha is kinda a nice person. also, this guy named josh was quite good-looking for a chinese and i think he's into tahnee. muahahahahaha~ oh well, maybe it's just me who think so. watever. [=
it turned out quite a lot of people were running for committee nominations on wednesday. so each and every one of them is going to run for positions such as president, vice-president etc and make their speech in front of a large crowd waiting to vote very very soon. i somehow regret not signing up for a position. sigh. should i or not? anyway it's too late now.
so back to today, after that one hour of table duty, i went for dancing with valerie. the dance instructor chose me first to be his partner and we did the beggining set of steps for chacha. i could feel it coming already. (now i know. he always choose those people who don't dare to meet eye contact with him. ck. so smart.) i think i did quite crappy. so after chacha was jive. he chose me again. but this time, i am sure i did better because only then he said 'very nice.' *woots* [=
called eric and he said he is trekking in the jungle now. lol he sent me a picture thru mms of the jungle. it's all burnt. maybe from the leftover of the bushfire? oh goshhhh scaryyy.
the house is so quite now. bit bored. but i am also watching this k movie called 'summer special' from mysoju. hehe not tt gd. but i just watch it for fun and to relax! (wait maybe i should stop watching since it's crap anyway...) [=
