went out with jie min (our biomed friend) for the first time today! lol. after one and a half year! oh well...i guess some people take longer time to bond. haha.
we ate at korean restaurant behind QV. love it love it! we ate for a long time cause we talked a lot!!! [= girls gt loh...
then we walked to city to Supre. i bought two clothes. was tempted by the two girls... grr. they made me so jealous. and wth it's "holiday" time for us. haha so happy!
it rained when we got out from the shop. and the wind was freaking cold today! BRRRR to the power of BRRRR. =p but i still love the weather. so fresh!
ate the pasta that bro cooked. it tasted weird cause he put bawang goreng in. gosh i think my brother is the only one in the world that adds fried onion into his everything. lol
then went to meet sally and the others at chinatown shanghai dumpling. gosh! only til tonight that i realise i totally have no visual-space personality. i am not street-wise AT ALL. i walked the entire chinatown street for i think about 2 rounds before i gave up. called ilona for directions for like 5 times! it was only until i met victor and irvin that they walked me to the place. so kind of them to do that. poor victor was on crutch and still didn't mind walking there with me. thank God for him and the rest of them. [=
i shared with them the red bean pancake. so nice man. then we walked towards Hungry Jacks to wait for some people. there were altogether 13 of us. sally, sherryl, novi, inggrid, ruiza, josh, steven, gavin, arwin, pauline, ronald, this another guy i dunno the name of and me. some of us, including me, bought 50c ice cream cone from HJ. i think we were pretty crazy to get ice cream. it's so cold and still we eat ice cream! lol
btw, the movie was AWESOME!!! [=
so proud of indonesia producer Mira Lesmana! you go girl! she really has inspired for so many young indonesians tonight just by watching her show. me and many other girls cried at so many parts of the story. steven laughed at us because of that. lol
it taught me a lot. about hardship and how it helped some people to progress and have hope for the future. education is an important tool in poor countries and how we shouldn't take it for granted. intelligence is not the most important thing in learning, but the HEART is what counts in the end. never ever give up on a dream that you have. even the poor can do it, so why can't we? [=
hopefully, you guys can catch the movie by some mean. it's called LASKAR PELANGI. very good show. you will feel the same towards it like i do. so i encourage you to watch it, people!!! you will not regret it. no actual popular actor is in the film, just some poor unknown kids in indo that you have never heard of. but if you have a heart for them, why not take 2 hours of your time to watch and learn something useful from it? okay? [=
gotta prepare for joykids tomorrow... hope it will be a great one!!!♡
